Gulf Coast- PRAMThe Gulf Coast Chapter of PRAM is where PR professionals from Jackson and George Counties come together to meet, discuss, and work together on communication topics. The best managed PR departments in this area are lead by our chapter’s members. That’s no spin either.  With that said, don’t confuse our chapter with some stuffy sterotypes. We meet once a month to hear from timely speakers and/or learn from each other. Our members prefer good conversation to “Robert’s Rules” during meetings. Good questions are welcomed at any point during a presentation. Along with monthly meetings, our Chapter annually presents both a “Excellence in Media Award” and “PR Student Scholarship.” Our members are also highly involved with several non-profit charities such as the United Way. GC PRAM is a proud chapter of the Public Relations Assoication of Mississippi and the Southern Federation of Public Relations. Prospective members are always welcome at monthly meetings. |
